About Sziget Festival

A great pop & rock music and art festival.

It will be enjoyed by nearly half a million visitors from all over the world.

Words can’t really do justice to this experience that has been likened to Burning Man.

Art installations, performing arts, talks, and a fantastic array of activities from belly dancing to board games.

How to get there

On Obuda island in the heart of Budapest.

Liszt Ferenc Airport (BUD) is Budapest’s airport, and direct shuttle buses run between the airport and the festival.

If you’re arriving in Budapest by train, you’ll arrive at one of three major train stations.

The nearest public transport station to Sziget Festival is the HÉV line (suburban railway – H5) called Filatorigát.
