A Taste of Stockholm – Smaka på Stockholm – Food Festival
This food festival is an excellent insight into Stockholm’s food lifestyle.
It covers everything from locally grown produce to organic food that creates a model of sustainable living.
It’s not only food but also an extensive multi-genre music program.
This Taste Stockholm Food Festival is in the King’s Garden Park (Kungsträdgården).

One of the world’s largest food festivals
Every year it attracts over 350 000 visitors enjoying the extensive program with music and exciting things to taste and learn.
Many of Stockholm’s top restaurants serve food during the festival, covering everything from traditional dishes to exciting worldwide cuisine.
It’s one of the most significant annual events in the country, and it cares about sustainability and the environment.
The proud history showed that festivals and events have the power to change things.
In 2010 the festival did get environmentally certified by the organisation Keep Sweden Tidy.
That lifted it into the sphere of festivals and events in Europe that are not only here to entertain; they are here to teach us and spread the word about things that matters.
With that in mind, they also started the initiative called Stockholm Green.
In 2011, Stockholm Food Festival and Stockholm Green joined into one festival that aims to inspire, motivate and offer knowledge about the sustainability of life.
