San Sebastian is a beautiful Basque city in northern Spain along the Bay of Biscay.
In 2016 it was declared the European Capital of Culture.
San Sebastian is a centre of culture and food tourism and a popular seaside resort.
If you can’t make it in July, there is always the “Semana Grande” Great Week in August, another week-long festival with the International Championship of Fire Works as its centrepiece.
Because San Sebastian is the second city in the world with the most Michelin stars per person, you and your friends or loved one can enjoy some delicious gourmet restaurants while you’re here.
A little Conclusion
You can enjoy pintxos, gourmet food and San Sebastian all year round.
It can be hectic, with big crowds during the festivals, so visiting San Sebastian in other weeks can be an excellent choice if you want it more tranquil and romantic.
