Postponed to fall 2020
Launched in 2001, this Paris festival is annually held in May.
Every year it shows amazing concerts and talent of young performers, mostly from France, but also from rest of the world.
During these years, this was the place to watch and listen to Norah Jones, Manu Dibango, Michel Portal, Lucky Peterson, Kenny Barron and many more.
Every performance is always followed by a spectacular location: Saint-Germain-des-Prés Church, Odeon theather, Paris Descartes University, Maison des Oceans
The programme is divided into several categories: daily programme, evenings, the young talents competition, women’s jazz, Jazz n’chat, amateurs, after jazz club, photography and jazz in prison.
The same is with artists. New talents, festival’s special choice, the guest of honor, album release, amateur vocal groups.
It’s not only a musical event. Saint Germain des Prés Jazz Festival is a cultural treasure where you’ll find conferences, classes of jazz, chats, exhibitions.
