Mercat de Musica Viva de Vic (MMVV) is a convergence of musical minds from all music industry sectors.
For four days in September, the music business comes together to share ideas in the ancient town of Vic, Spain.
About Mercat de Musica festival
Vic plays host to this exchange of cultural and music initiatives.
It’s a Live Music Market where you will discover sounds from Catalonia, Spain, and other parts of the world.
It’s a place to exchange knowledge and buy and sell music, one from which many musical initiatives have begun.
Spectators can enjoy free concerts at various outdoor stages located throughout Vic.
There are also many indoor venues, and these are ticketed concerts.
How to get there
Vic is a small Catalonia town 70 km inland from Barcelona and 60 km from Girona.
You can best reach Vic by car or train.
The train to Vic takes just one hour from Barcelona.
