The Retro Pop and Rock Festival

Retro pop at its best! This Let’s Rock Festival is part of a series across the UK from May to September.

It’s a family-friendly festival where kids have their kingdom with plenty to keep them occupied.

Enter into the spirit by wearing a retro outfit to rock along with your favourite acts from the 80s.

The fun kicks off at midday, with gates opening at 11.00 and finishes up at 22.30.

The running order will only be announced at the festival, so plan on spending the entire day there to ensure you don’t miss your favourite artist.

Fireworks, a funfair, fine dining, craft beer, and a charity auction round out the day’s fun festivities.

Put your 80s playlist together now to start setting the mood for what is sure to be a fantastic party!

Getting there

Herrington Country Park situated in New Herrington, about a half-hour drive south-east of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Buses from Newcastle will take around an hour to an hour and a half.

If approaching from Sunderland, it will take about 20 minutes by car and 40 by bus.

There will also be a shuttle bus from Sunderland.
