The Retro Festival

Retro rock at its best! This Let’s Rock Festival is part of a series taking place across the UK during the summer.

Let’s Rock Scotland takes place in Dalkeith Country Park, Edinburgh.

Enter into the spirit by wearing a retro outfit to rock along with your favourite acts from the 80s.

With lots of fab acts and entertainment, there will be something to amuse all at this family-friendly festival.

The fun kicks off at midday, with gates opening at 11.00 and finishes up at 22.30.

The running order will only be announced at the festival, so plan on spending the entire day there to ensure you don’t miss your favourite artist.

Put your 80s playlist together now to start setting the mood for what is sure to be a fantastic party!

Getting there

Dalkeith Country Park is situated about six miles (9,6 kilometres) southeast of the centre of Edinburgh.

The festival organisers have teamed up with Happy Bus to provide a shuttle service from downtown Edinburgh and various other locations across Scotland.

If you’d like to stay close to the festival venue, the Premier Inn Edinburgh Dalkeith is an excellent economical option.


For a more regal stay, check out Melville Castle.

It’s worth combining the festival with a stay in the vibrant city of Edinburgh, which has lots of accommodation options to offer the visitor.
