The Retro Festival

Retro rock at its best! This Let’s Rock Festival is part of a series of festivals across the UK from May to July.

All the festivals are family-friendly, and there is plenty to keep all ages entertained and amused.

Enter into the spirit by wearing a retro outfit to rock along with your favourite acts from the 80s.

Let’s Rock Leeds takes place at Temple Newsam next to the magnificent Temple Newsam House.

In addition to lots of fab acts, Sara Cox of BBC Radio 2 will be presenting the Just Can’t Get Enough 80s show.

The fun kicks off at midday, with gates opening at 11.00 and finishes up at 22.30.

The running order will only be announced at the festival, so plan on spending the full day there to ensure you don’t miss your favourite artist.

Put your 80s playlist together now to start setting the mood for what is sure to be a fantastic party!

Temple Newsam Park is in the southeast of Leeds, about five miles from the city centre.

Easily accessible by car from the M1 (junction 46 from the south and north).

Bus 19 from York Street (stop F3) will get you to Templegate Green, and then you’ll have a 10-minute walk to the festival site.

There is also a shuttle bus service from Leeds centre. You have to buy that service in advance.
