“Kaufhaus Des Westens”
KaDeWe in Berlin is one of Europe’s largest department stores with seven fancy floors.
At the entrance, one often meets a current exhibition offering and taste.
One level down, you will come to a large grocery department that can provide most of the delicacies.
Great perfume department and some stairs up an entire floor with chocolate and candy.
KaDeWe also has about 1800 clothing brands to choose from, so it should be possible to find their favourites.
The sixth floor offers exotic food and drink at several deli bars with snacks of various kinds.
It is also possible to take a break from shopping with a glass of champagne.
On the same floor, you can find some wine. It is said to have a range of over 3000 wines.
On the seventh floor, you can eat in the Wintergarten. If you are lucky, there is space at the large window with a view to Europe Centre and the Memorial Church “Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtnis Kirche”.
