Jazz a Vienne hails over 140 musicians from all over the world for a two-week-long music festival in June and July.

Venues

Headlining performers close each night with unforgettable performances in an ancient Roman amphitheatre downtown Vienne.

From emerging jazz artists to contemporary Latin, hip-hop and electro-funk music, Jazz a Vienne offers over 100 free acts throughout the medieval city of Vienne, in four different settings:

Midnight Club, an Italian theatre, is transformed into an intimate setting suited for acoustic nights and Mississippi blues.

Scenes of Cybèle welcomes all festival-goers to enjoy dozens of free performances, during the day, in the ancient Gallo-Roman Archeological Garden of Cybèle.

JazzMix at Cybèle is where one can enjoy the after-hour parties until the early hours of dawn.

Special shows for children

Jazz a Vienne has opened the festivities for over a decade with a show for the children.

Over 6,000 primary school kids from around the Viennese region take over the Théâtre Antique for an interactive experience.

To enhance the interests and awareness of young musicians, Richard Bona creates a warm atmosphere and opportunity for children to learn, create and perform in front of live audiences.
