About Bloemencorso, The Flower Parade Bollenstreek
Since the end of the second World War, The Dutch have gathered in Bollenstreek to celebrate the beauty of spring flowers.
During The Dutch Golden Age, flowers, specifically the Tulip, were said to be worth more than 3,000 guilders for one bulb.
Today, flowers remain the root of Dutch culture.
This year’s festival theme pays homage to just that, culture!
Festival and Parade Details
You can enjoy some events from Wednesday to Sunday at this flowerfestival, but main event is the flower parade on Saturday.
Saturday, 20 April 2024, the Flower Parade Bollenstreek!
Live bands and interactive performances accompany it.
It will start around 9:00 a.m., passing through the following villages:
Noordwijk, Voorhout, Sassenheim, Lisse, Hillegom, Bennebroek, Heemstede, ending in Haarlem around 21.30 – 22.00 (9.30 – 10.00 p.m.)

On Sunday, the parade floats and decorated vehicles will be exhibited in the city centre of Haarlem at Gedempte Oude Gracht/Nassaulaan.

Flower Festival in Keukenhof, Lisse
All in all, Flower Parade Bollenstreek is a lovely event to enjoy, and at the same time, you can visit the Spring Flower Festival in Keukenhof and the beautiful flower park.
