Poble Sec Fiesta Major
Each Barcelona district celebrates its main festival, known as “Fiesta Major.”
Poble Sec hosts a week-long festival in mid-July, with giant shows and street dancing on the first Saturday.
The evening was filled with great music across different street scenes, creating a lively atmosphere until around 2 o’clock.
I joined the vibrant celebration on the bustling “tapas street” Blai, where people enjoyed tapas, beers, and wine on a warm summer night.
On Sunday, the squares came alive with entertainment, and on Blai Street, talented groups were busy building the famous human towers.
Throughout the following weekdays, Poble Sec continued to be filled with various forms of entertainment and music at different locations, creating a truly festive atmosphere.
