Family fun at its best!

Camp Bestival is a festival for the whole family to enjoy.

It’s a chance to holiday at a castle near the sea.

Four days packed full of fun activities, fantastic live acts, and fabulous food.

There’s a plethora of live entertainment to choose from: music acts, comedians, theatre & shows, talks from poets and authors.

And if you want to be more hands-on, there are plenty of activities to get involved in.

Get your art & craft on at Art Town, take a cruise on HMS Camp Bestival, or dance the time away in the world’s largest disco ball.

To further delight the senses, there’s a wonderful array of food and drink on offer.

Camp Bestival has won the award for Best Family Festival numerous times.





Festival Highlights

Perhaps we should say that Camp Bestival is one big highlight and is every year packed full of fantastic offerings.

Some of the 2019 headliners was;

JESS GLYNNE – THE HUMAN LEAGUE – EAST 17 – VENGABOYS

On Sunday night the sky lights up with a spectacular firework show.

And for anyone seeking a time-out, them Slow Motion has you covered!

Then there’s the food and drink, from a Farmers’ Market, to River Cottage, the Women’s Institute Tea Tent, Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, and The Feast Collective, a food lovers’ haven.



Especially for the kids

For the young, and young-at-heart, there’s entertainment galore!

Learn circus skills, bounce around on the world’s biggest bouncy castle, ride a bike, race a go-cart, or jump on your favorite fairground ride.

Getting there

The location is as magical as the festival itself.

Lulworth Castle is situated in the heart of Dorset between Bournemouth, Dorchester and Weymouth, close to Dorset’s famous Jurassic Coast.

It’s easy to reach by car, train or coach.

If you’re driving, follow the instructions on the festival website: directions by car.

Wareham or Wool Station will bring you in the vicinity and local taxis will be available to take you from the train station to the festival site.

Big Green Coach is the official coach service provider and will operate a weekend return coach service from London Victoria Coach Station direct to the festival entrance.

If you’re flying in from overseas, Bournemouth and Southampton International Airports are the closest.
