Budapest Wine Festival
– takes place in September and is one of the most prestigious festivals of its kind in Hungary.
Tens of thousands of people annually visit it, all with the same aim, exploring the wine culture of Hungary and other countries.
Tastings usually take place in iconic city buildings such as the terraces of the Buda Castle, followed by a presentation of things to try and see in this beautiful city.
Year after year, more and more presenters attend the festival, so that number goes up to 200 wine cellars from 15 countries and around 60 different cultural programs.

Organisers invite you to try tastes of Hungary – packed in around 140 grape varieties from more than 20 historic wine regions.
