This year Brussels Jazz Weekend will launch an alternative ‘Balcony Edition’ on 29 and 30 May 2021.
This free festival offers jazz in all its forms: from swing to bebop, and from blues and rock to world music.
Introduced in 2017, the lineup of local and international acts attracts local and international jazz fans.
Held in various venues across the city, it’s a great way to explore the wonderful city of Brussels.
An outdoor stage is set up in Brussels magnificent Grand Place (Grote Markt).
And numerous other open-air venues in addition to the many bars and clubs featuring jazz acts, offer something to suit all tastes.
As well as fabulous jazz, beer, and chocolate, Brussels provides a wide variety of fine accommodation options.
If you’d like to stay close to the historical center, book yourself a room at Catalonia Grand Place.
The Grand Place is just a short stroll away from this delightful hotel, which offers fresh, modern, and spacious rooms.
There’s free WiFi, room service, lifts, 24-hour reception, a great breakfast, and your pets are welcome too!
As well as being the international headquarters of the European Union and NATO, Belgium’s capital, Brussels, is a center of style, art, and design.
The ornate and opulent Grand Place (Grote Markt) is not to be missed.
Nor are the trendy bars and restaurants with their fab food and an amazing assortment of beer.
And don’t miss the chance to sample Belgian’s finest chocolates – arguably some of the best in the world.
It’s a small country and towns are easily accessible, so it’s a great opportunity to combine the Brussels Jazz Weekend with a visit further afield.
Take the chance to see the medieval old towns with their Flemish Renaissance architecture.
If you haven’t been to Bruges, we suggest you extend your stay and take a side trip to visit this picturesque city.
