24 – 26 May 2024
This free festival offers jazz in all its forms: swing to bebop, blues and rock to world music.
Introduced in 2017, the lineup of local and international acts attracts local and international jazz fans.
The event is in various venues across the city, and it’s a great way to explore the wonderful city of Brussels.
An outdoor stage is at Brussel’s magnificent Grand Place (Grote Markt).
And numerous other open-air venues, besides the many bars and clubs featuring jazz acts, offer something to suit all tastes.
As well as fabulous jazz, beer, and chocolate, Brussels provide various acceptable accommodation options.
If you’d like to stay close to the historical centre, book a room at Catalonia Grand Place.
The Grand Place is just a short stroll away from this delightful hotel, which offers fresh, modern, and spacious rooms.
As well as being the international headquarters of the European Union and NATO, Belgium’s capital, Brussels, is a centre of style, art, and design.
The ornate and opulent Grand Place (Grote Markt) is not to be missed.
Nor are the trendy bars and restaurants with their fab food and a fantastic assortment of beer.
And don’t miss the chance to sample Belgian’s finest chocolates – arguably some of the best in the world.
It’s a small country, and towns are easily accessible, so it’s an excellent opportunity to combine the Brussels Jazz Weekend with a visit further afield.
Take the chance to see the medieval old towns with their Flemish Renaissance architecture.
If you haven’t been to Bruges, we suggest extending your stay and taking a side trip to this picturesque city.
