Lowlands festival
The whole festival name is ‘A Camping Flight To Lowlands Paradise.
First held in August 1993, this three-day music and performing arts festival have been a mainstay in festival-goers calendars ever since.
This award-winning festival will be held again at the Event Terrain Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen, about an hour away from Amsterdam.
Music is the heart and soul of the festival.
Across the stages, there’ll also be theatre, film, visual arts, stand-up comedy, science, literature and street theatre.
Also, the School of Life is there to entertain, inform and inspire.
Lowlands festival tickets include camping at the regular festival camping.
If you have a camper van or caravan, you can buy an additional ticket for a camping site.

Getting there
You’ll find the fortified Powderham Castle about eight miles south of Exeter.
The best way to get there is to take the shuttle bus service the festival organizers have arranged.
It picks up from and returns to Exeter St Davids Railway Station, Exeter Central Railway Station, and Exeter Bus Station.

About Let’s Rock Leeds
The Retro Festival

Let’s Rock Leeds takes place at Temple Newsam next to the magnificent Temple Newsam House.

The fun kicks off at midday, with gates opening at 11.00 and finishes up at 22.30.

Getting there
Temple Newsam Park is in the southeast of Leeds, about five miles from the city centre.
Easily accessible by car from the M1 (junction 46 from the south and north).
Bus 19 from York Street (stop F3) will get you to Templegate Green, and then you’ll have a 10-minute walk to the festival site.
There is also a shuttle bus service from Leeds centre. You have to buy that service in advance.
