More about Iceland and things to do

Iceland is an island in the North Atlantic Ocean between Europe and North America, with influences from both sides of the Atlantic.

The hip and happening capital city, Reykjavik, is the world’s northernmost capital city.

Visit a museum or two, take the lift to the top of Hallgrimskirkja to take in the views over Reykjavik and beyond, or head to the shopping malls Kringlan and Smaralind, just a short drive from the city centre.

Wander the shopping streets in the old city centre, and try some Icelandic delicacies in the many city restaurants.

Wellness, shopping, nature, adventure, and culture, Iceland has it all.
