More about Trapani, Sicily
Trapani is located on the west coast of Sicily and has much to offer the visitor.
The old town is a must-see and it’s a great point from which to explore the beautiful coastline, harbours, and beaches nearby.
From Trapani you can take a cable car to Erice, a lovely medieval town perched atop of a hill, or a ferry to smaller outer islands such as Favignana.
The town of Marsala is also close by.
It’s famous for the wine of the same name and the sea salt harvesting.
